Aunt Ems Gourmet Popcorn - Home

Recipe adapted from 'The Hoppin 'n' Poppin Popcorn Cookbook by Gina Steer'
- Ingredients:
- 4 cups Aunt Em's Tender White Popcorn
- 3 Tablespoons light corn syrup
- 3 squares of milk chocolate from a baking bar or 1 Tablespoon of chocolate chips
- 1 rounded Tablespoon of sifted cocoa powder
- 2 Tablespoons of butter
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Directions:
- * Line a large cake pan with wax paper.
- * Heat syrup, chocolate, cocoa powder, and butter in a large pan while stirring occasionally.
- * Stir mixture until melted and smooth, then remove from heat.
- * Add vanilla extract and Aunt Em's Tender White Popcorn.
- * Gently stir until well coated.
- * Evenly spread popcorn mixture in baking pan and allow to cool.
- * After mixture has cooled, remove from pan, discard wax paper, and cut into bars for serving.
